About Finative:

We started Finative (https://www.finative.co/) for one simple reason: to allow entrepreneurs to pursue the work they love. As a small business, a multi-person finance team isn’t an efficient use of funds, and as a result, much of the day-to-day reporting falls on the founder or a key member of the executive team. There are enough stresses with running a business and creating a robust growth strategy; the daily financial operations should not be one of them.

Our mission at Finative is to empower businesses to grow, by finding the right balance between technological innovation and human interaction. We leverage the latest FinTech solutions to make financial processes as seamless as possible; while also making sure there is someone there to support clients' business every step of the way. Our clients are actively managing cash burn, measuring performance, reporting to investors, making capital allocation decisions, and preparing for fundraising. All of that takes expertise and time that founders don’t have and can’t afford to hire for. Finative bridges the gap with flexible, various support packages that provide fractional leadership and operational support from CFOs, Controllers, FP&A Managers, and Tax leaders.

Accounting Associate

This is a full-time position, and the employee is expected to work approximately 40 hours per week. While standard business hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET) serve as a general guideline for availability, the work schedule is not strictly defined and can be flexible, as long as it's coordinated with the team. That said, the contractor is expected to be available during these hours for any scheduled meetings or time-sensitive collaboration, unless otherwise agreed.
